Japanese Plum

Alanar Fruit cultivates approximately 1.000 tons of Japanese plum with more than 10 various types. The Japanese plum types coming from Israel and South Africa are demanded by leading supermarkets in Europe and the Far East. In order to meet this demand, the exportation capacity has bane increasing since 2006.

The harvest period is prolonged by cultivating late and early bloomer types of Japanese plum in high and low altitudes. The Japanese plum cultivated between the months of July and October can be stored and submitted to the market until December thanks to post-harvest techniques.
