Tekfen Agriculture awarded 'Good Agricultural Practices' Certificate
As a result of İTU (Good Agricultural Practices) inspections carried out at Corporate Farming Karaman plantations and Antalya Çandır pilot banana greenhouses, Tekfen Agriculture was awarded the İTU Certificate that it targeted within the framework of ‘Sustainable Agriculture Principles’.
During the inspections carried out in the Corporate Farming Karaman plantations and Antalya Çandır pilot banana greenhouses of Tekfen Agriculture, one of the leading companies in Turkey in agricultural production, samples were taken from the products in accordance with the Good Agricultural Practices checkpoints and compliance criteria. The results achieved from the samples were evaluated by the certification body and reported to the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry.
As a result of the inspections, Tekfen Tarım's practices and products - realized in accordance with 'Sustainable Agriculture Principles' - were awarded the ITU - Good Agricultural Practices Certificate.
