Bölge; kayısı, Japon eriği, nektarin gibi taş çekirdekli meyvelerin üretiminde artan bir ivmeyle yükselmektedir. Alanar, Afyon’da yaklaşık 500 dekar üzerinde kiraz, kayısı, ve Japon eriği üretimi yapmaktadır.
