Tekfen Agri Çandır Trial Banana Greenhouse, located in Serik District of Antalya, is the banana fruit production facility of Tekfen Agri. The facility has total of 14 decares cultivation area and is the first banana production facility in the region.
Çandır Trial Banana Greenhouse with its 3700 banana plants has led the farmers of the region in banana fruit cultivation since its establishment. In the facility, domestic banana fruit is produced using banana saplings grown disease-free in the tissue culture laboratory of Adana Tekfen Agri Agripark R&D Center.
The greenhouse banana planting seasons vary by the climate, but are typically March-May and September-November periods.
