Tekfen Tarım's Nevşehir Underground Storage Facility awarded TSE COVID-19 Safe Production Certificate
Taking all necessary measures since the day COVID-19 pandemic started, Tekfen Tarım continues to fulfill these measures without compromise in order to prevent any negative impact on the health of its employees, customers and business partners. In that regard, by carrying out the Infection Prevention and Control Procedures specified by the Turkish Standards Institution (TSE), Tekfen Tarım's Nevşehir Underground Storage Facility has been awarded the "TSE COVID-19 Safe Production Certificate".
Tekfen Tarım, one of the leading companies in Turkey in agricultural production, has completely fulfilled all measures since the first moment of the Coronavirus outbreak in our country, preventing the negative effects that might occur on the health of its employees, customers and business partners. In order to determine, evaluate and audit the competence of these measures on-site, an application was made by Tekfen Tarım Nevşehir Underground Storage Facility for the “COVID-19 Safe Production Certificate” of the Turkish Standards Institution (TSE).
As a result of the strict measures taken at the facility during the audit, no signs of disease were found in any employee, even during the peak period of harvesting and storage activities, and the activities continued to be carried out without interruption. Tekfen Tarım Nevşehir Underground Storage Facility, where infection prevention and control procedures determined by TSE were fulfilled without compromise, was awarded the “TSE COVID-19 Safe Production Certificate” without being flagged for any issues and without requiring additional time. The Bursa-İznik Plant of Alanar Fruit - which continues its activities within Tekfen Tarım - and Tekfen Tarım's Adana Agripark R&D Center also received the same certificate as a result of previous inspections.
